How to Connect Clickup
When you log into your Go Casual dashboard you can head along to the Integrations tab which you will find on the left sidebar of your employers dashboard now when you’re there you will see the first thing is the Click up Activation tab there are instructions on here of how to connect click up with links to the correct places you’re going to need your Client ID Client Secret Personal Access Token and your Team Workspace ID and you should be able to get these all off the information that’s provided through the Go Casual Dashboard You can see a preview of it below:
Importing Timesheets from clickup.
Once you have the connection to click up activated if you’re wanting to import timesheets from your employees the first thing you need to do is make sure you have an employee with a matching email address connected to your clickup account so all of your employees will Automatically attach to your Timesheets tab when you’re under your Timesheets tab if you have the connection to click up enabled through your Integrations dashboard when you click on the Import button you’re going to see the option to add click up or Import from click up to the screen
Once you have chosen the import method from click up it will take you to another screen which you’ll be able to fetch your employer based on their email address All of your employees should pull through to this page as long as they have been entered correctly under the Employee dashboard.
Be sure to select the correct start date and end date of when you want your timesheets to be pulled from. Once you have selected the correct dates just click the Import Timesheets button and they should appear under the timesheets.
If the integration has been successful and the timesheets have pulled through correctly you will see a list of all time entries that have been added into the timesheet in click up Now keep in mind that all of these will collectively come together when umm process SIM and a pay run so if you have a lot of split times across click up they’ll all be combined into single times for those days So on your pay run it should reflect a true period time rather than individual times.
I hope that tutorial has been useful for you if you do need any more integrations please contact us on our support email [email protected] Or submit our form with a new feature request we are eager to please and want to create the best app that is the most useful for any situation regarding casual employees.
